Century Hits

A big thank you to all the fans for this blog to exceed 100hits within a week since its launch. Though it may not be hardly significant but it just shows i'm such a popular guy and you guys really have nothing better else to do! haha...but still thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Its already the 4th day into my 1 week recess but still seem there much to do. Mid Semester Tests are spread out throughout Oct as well as a mini project, presentation and lab reports to be due by November. Exams at the end of November makes this semester really short, everything is going by so fast that finding time for anything else seems almost a chore. Finally completed the last of my banners then i'll be going full swing into my school stuff till the end of the year.

Updating my blog is something I enjoy doing, it allows me to take a step back from my daily life and look at it from another view. Its like watching a TV and you can rewind and fast forward to events. Have to admit i'm glad when i'm watching my life replay before me (not that i'm on the brink of death). Though somethings you wish will play out differently but life ain't a bed of roses.

Ciao...lets set a new milestone!

Check out the event below, i'm helping a friend to pass the word around.

Murphy's Law

Today we will talk about Murphy's wonderful Law of what can go wrong will go wrong. This law is unlike any other laws. It doesn't observe the laws of physics, mathematics, religion or whatever KCL, KVL (for EEE students). Yes this is something that is very real in today's society. What can we do to prevent something from going wrong? Most of you may say ample planning is involve. I'm sad to say that even with ample planning, things can still go wrong. In fact it just makes it worse if after all the planning, something still goes wrong. We can't run away from this. Statisticians may try to formulate a chance for something to go wrong if you do this or do that and they will show you figures that means nothing because probability in the sense of the word means...damn it! There is still a chance for the shit to hit the fan and all of us will be covered with shit and we'll just stare at each other with shit on our face.

Needless to say something must have happened that fueled my inspiration to write on this topic. Yes! There was ample planning done. Yes! All parties involved were informed of the plan. NO! Its not going to happen as planned. THANKS TO THE MUTHAF**King Murphy's Law. So what are we going to do about this anomaly that exist in our dimension of space and time?........LAN LAN SUCK THUMB lor!!!!

Note to someone:
I've read your response on your blog. I'm ashamed to say you deserve a better friend. I won't even dream of you accepting what I've done. When I get things sorted out, will you still be there? I don't expect anything...my bad

OMG! What a crazy day, after surviving the weekend, i'm plagued with Financial Planning for my HRM business plan. The rest of you guys got it easy man, choosing the theory, wordy sections and here I am sitting on my ass from 2pm to 1am trying to figure out how to do a Profit and Loss Statement MONTHLY and then for the next 5 YEARS as well as a Projected Cashflow STATEMENT MONTHLY and then for the next 5 fucking YEARS and last but not least the MacDADDY of shitty Financial Planning report......(drum roll) PROJECTED BALANCE SHEET FOR THE 1sT 5 DAMN YEARS! Some of you business students may say "WTF are you complaining for...dis is easi...amigo...muchacho....etc". Well for an Engineering student its damn well is like trying to lick your own elbows. Anyway its done...glad for it, almost feel elated that I need to throw a big party! HAHaha...but thanks to people who provided me help.

Thank you(s) go to...
1. Shaun - for providing me the template although I didn't have a need for it yet.
2. Alvin & Marcus - Project mates that snapped up the easier parts but still had time to answer my queries
3. Mingnan - Haha sorry don't chat with you online that often but you were the only business student online at the time.
4. Yvonne - Came online shortly after when Mingnan replied too slow. Thanks to your accounts colleague as well.
5. Kum Chee Bong - Who slammed a couple of "NO"s in my face when I was clarifying terms with him, made me feel really dumb...but you did the 1st year projected balance SHIT for me anyways.

Did I miss out anyone? Oh my dad...haha tried to explain to me what the terms were anyway. Damn i'm feeling sick from sitting too long and starring at the computer screen. Gonna turn in soon.

Message to someone:
I got the message you wanted Rong Mei to pass to me. Yeah and I feel likewise and i'm sorry I did the things I did. You'd probably won't understand why I did those things but whats done is done and I don't expect you to wanna try things differently. Afterall you've done nothing wrong and I don't want you to change for that. Just hope you're living the life you want we've constantly spoken about back in the days. You once said when people leave your life, it makes more room for new people to enter =) I see from your blog thats happening and i'm happy for you.

Take care everyone!!!

Its another saturday

Hello to all! Saturdays to me now is no longer considered a weekend. Instead, its the start of the work week for me. Yes! Most of you already know i'm working part time to help finance my extravagant lifestyle which always render broke towards the end of every month. Mahjong, Pubbing, Clubbing(not so much now) and drinking. The amount of $ I spent on drinking is showing exponentially on my waistline. Perhaps I should start my exercise regime again (for the 9,999th time).

A little bit about a typical Saturday in the life of your great teacher. The day starts around 9am where I begin to shake of the morning sickness I so constantly experience on a daily basis. I swear your mind is awake but you can't seem to move your body. 15min later I "should" be making my way across the hallway into the bathroom for my shower and "various businesses" and i'm off to work. For those of you who have no idea what I do for a "part" living, i'm doing what Deuce Bigalow does. My place of operations is in a SPA at a very very prime location and I indirectly service both men and women. On occasions, I'll have to travel around Singapore to pick up new faces and bring them to the SPA. Yes! The exchange of cash is usually present. Once we arrive at the SPA, I will have to get the newbies to feel relaxed by exposing them gradually to the new conditions. They tend to feel vulnerable with so many pairs of eyes upon them and the usual high pitch voice of the Indian aunty there "Hi Handsome! You brought new friends to us today issit?"...I would just give a smile and continue my work on them. There are many ladies at the SPA, most of them are like me, there to provide a service. Trying to psycho both ladies and gents to be members of the SPA, of course my job scope is to deal with the newbies. Anyway the newbie I handled today was the biggest I ever had to handle but the face cannot make it...don't know why my boss choose that one.

If I did'nt have loads of project meetings to attend today, I would usually be playing mahjong at a friend's place. Or we would head down to Wala Wala to enjoy the UnXpected over some drinks till about 2am then that concludes most Saturdays.

Anyway here is a picture taken from my work place...

HAHAHAHA...i'm doing Fish Tank Maintenance la...what you thinking???

Impending doom this weekend

Haven't been getting alot of sleep lately. Crashing around 3am almost every night and got up at 9.15am today ready to go for lab. Been working on alot of stuff lately, Entreprenuership Business plan, Blog, Animated Banners for my work and juggling between project group meetings. I just hope to survive this weekend. Maybe next time I should not bite into something too big to chew. Feeling sick thinking about the impending workload. Not to mention I got work on Saturday. I've probably been too slack thats why i'm feeling the pressure...maybe you guys out there thrive on such a packed schedule. YOU GUYS ARE NUTS!!!

Anyway last day of school today...yay...mini consolation...time to catch up on studies during the 1 week recess and play alittle...if I survive the weekend. I'm suppose to be working on the banners now during this 3hr break but some of my graphics which I prepared last night has cocked up. Fuck man what the hell am I going to do now until the next lesson?

On a lighter note, i've added a media section to the blog. You can access it via "squeezing" the big ladybug. I swear i'll improve on the section but 1stly i'm up to my nose with work and the damn css/html/javascript code is giving some problems. So once I have the time, i'll sort that out.

Oh do check out the links section regularly. I will update it with more fun sites, "student's" blogs and whatever tickles me. Check out a new link there...will direct you to a friend's webby selling some self-made accessories.

I have some time before...

Going to school! Ya so anyways I got to leave in like an hours time but I feel I got to ask this question. Yesterday while having lunch, I was informed that Thailand had fallen under the military rule. Tanks are soldiers are everywhere in the streets and then a "term" for this struck me. I know the word but I just forgot what its called. Does it sound very oxymoron? It one of those times when you thought you had it at the top of your head and before you can access that part of the memory, it just sinks further into the abyss of your brain. Its 2 words I think and the 2nd word sounds rather "cheem"...anyone can figure that out? Pls post it in the tagboard and you'll get a GOLD star sticker and a special mention from me in my next entry hehehe.

Recently a TV program by BBC called Panorama has dug out dirt on the beautiful game. Sam Allardyce and Harry Redknapp were implicated as a result. I have the outmost respect for both these managers and I would totally be shattered if it was true. On another note, I think people should just leave Glenn Roeder alone and respect him enough to keep their mouths shut. You don't see people doing
that to Sir Bobby Robson.

Thanks to freeuns and Milo for being the earliest 2 students to report to the classroom HAHAHA...might have been a few more but they did not sign in the attendance.

Ciaoz

Virgin Post

After almost 9hrs of work i'm finally done with the general layout of my blog. Phew what a relief! Hahaha there so many things going on this week and yet I feel the irritating need to complete this before anything else. I know I know my priorities are screwed up but the sense of achievement is rather overwhelming. I still have a marketing analysis to be done by this Friday, an online quiz tonight for Forensic Science and some banners to get done by Sunday. At least next week is recess week! Crap that means exams are drawing near and this Sem is make or break for me.

On a lighter note, have been heading down to Wala Wala at Holland Village pretty often. The live bands there are good but "The UnXpected" just stands out among the rest. Full of energy and the lead singer has a really nice range of vocals. They can really work the crowd. Ah well we'll see how this blog can grow. I promise changes will be made to fine tune the little bugs that might surface after awhile. Do post any suggestions you may have on the tagboard and if you still don't know, you can click on the big ladybug to reach the tag board and the lil ladybug to return to the start.

P.S This blog is dedicated to the Fans of
which was ousted to closure by pigmy hippos and flying cows. Hahaha....
