Ok back again after awhile. Having writer's block or very simply a lazy mind =D but a few events have passed and I thought it might be useful material to fill up some online blog spaces.

1st things 1st, i'll be leaving for HK in about 2 weeks time and damn its not going to help with my weighty problem (pun intended). Imagine shoving tim sums and what not down my throat....hmmm all the gastronomical delights and i've sorta came up with a rather small shopping list as well. I highly doubt i'll be haggling with the roadside stalls for a few obvious reasons. I don't speak the language except for a few undesirable words (god bless my soul) and as a guy I don't reckon i'll be interested in the street stuff unless I somehow have a total revamp of my shopping list. Anyone wants anything from there pls let me know before I go.

Entering week 8 of my IA...2 more weeks before my supervisor "possibly" might request to show up and already I have a backlog of work for my logbook...die better complete it before I fly off. Relations with people at work are getting better I guess and I guess thats the only saving grace among all the shit there is there but heard "news" that 1 of us might get outsourced for 2 months...hahaha taking it with a pinch of salt.

I think as humans we should always consider the words we are about to say before saying them. Its a positive trait no matter what you consider your character to be or what your social background is. So bitchy people out there for goodness sake you can act and walk the talk but when it comes down to the basics pls at least show that you are human afterall...=X

Had dinner at Sushi Tei@ Paragon last friday with scb and 2 of her colleagues...nice food with interactive company. Left for SMU's ICB to meet freeuns there...chilled over a few drinks before heading home. Freeuns don't let it affect you, it will blow over as long as the people involve don't continue provoking each other and sometimes to keep any kind of relationship going, pride has to be swallowed even if you think you're not in the wrong.

Movie Marathon yesterday was slightly less than what I expected but I guess practice makes perfect! Hahaha don't think you guys want anything like this soon right? Choice of movies were pretty decent just that for the 1st movie our attention was split between mahjong and watching the movie...haiz...lucky never play $ or else it'll be like paying for watching movie in my own home...=X ordered dinner in and there was so much food left...1 whole golden pillow to be exact...totally untouched!! Ended up watching only 3 movies out of the planned 4 at around 9pm+ as scb needed to go clubbing. After much deliberation, I decide to relent to her constant "jio-ing" and go Dbl O with her and her colleagues. Now you cannot say ask me go club is like wanting my life ah! Hee...reached there around 11pm and was fortunate to have a table because her colleagues were there early. Music was DUH! until the Bon Jovi's It's My Life came on around 1am and then it was smooth sailing all the way. Haven't felt that tipsy in awhile but i'm getting the hang of knowing my limit and last night was my limit...1jug screwdriver + 1jug greentea hennesy + 2gls Hennesy Coke + 1 tequila shot + 1btl budweiser at home...tsk tsk tsk getting weak already. Was already making frequent trips to the toilet already and was chilling by 3am...tired already...old already. The people were nice and I think scb was trying to entertain me as well as her colleagues...haha nice try babe but I think when you were high, you totally went all out for yourself but thats ok la quite an eye opener for me hahaha...

Okay gtg view houses now...damned

And so I was feeling better this morning...but it was not to last. As the day wore on i'm back to square one with a nasal orgasm coupled with a mild fever...damn my work is not helping me recover!

Headed down to Harbourfront again today and completed the job faster than yesterday. Practice makes perfect eh! Haha but I don't want to be too efficient in my job wait kena bullied to no end. Tried withdrawing $ from the DBS bank at Harbourfront today and the most unexpected thing happened! My card got retained!!! The machine tried dispensing my card twice but the card only came out of the slot alittle...I could not even grab hold and pull it out with my finger tips. Used the phone next to the atm and spoke to 3 different persons before telling me that a replacement card will be sent to me in 5 working days! Yeah so I have cash that I cannot take...how nice! Really got to submit my taxi claim tmr or else i'll have little $ on me for the short weekend I have. Any sugar mamas interested to support me for a few days? Hahaha good times guaranteed!

Work is piling up...the sales team is closing more sales than the engineers can cope and wtf are the new attachment students?!?!

Before I go would like to give a big loud SNEEZE! Hope I did not scare you...

Horrible day at work...not because of the job but due to me not feeling well. Was already feeling under the weather yesterday and it just got worse today. Yesterday my department experienced a shortage of manpower and I was left with a mountain of tasks to do. Fortunately the engineers helped out whenever they could and I managed to see the end of the day. Came in to office today with "nuo mi fan" and "tao ni" for breakfast...after 2 mouthfuls my supervisor came in telling us NTU guys to get ready to go onsite! Totally caught me by surprise, thought I could slack and recuperate in the office...wolfed down my breakfast and drank as much "tao ni" as I could before heading down to One Raffles Link. Finally had the chance to visit Credit Suisse office. Had to setup desks and chairs with 15 sets of PCs in 45min. It really took the stuffing out of me for the day! Felt abit sick but managed to complete the job. Returned to office for barely 20min before my supervisor told us to get ready for another deployment at Harbourfront! Damn! Went down to Harbourfront Merrill Lynch to deploy 30 LCD monitors...they ain't light! Felt like dying already but emerged half dead. Another 30 LCD monitors awaits me tmr...Now down with a fever, a scratchy throat and blocked nose! Yes life is good!

Another long week for me with deployment projects on Friday evening and Sunday...over worked under paid and best of all learn nothing.

Avril Lavigne - When You're Gone
I always needed time on my own
I never thought I'd need you there when I cry
And the days feel like years when I'm alone
And the bed where you lie
is made up on your side

When you walk away
I count the steps that you take
Do you see how much I need you right now?

When you're gone
The pieces of my heart are missing you
When you're gone
The face I came to know is missing too
When you're gone
All the words I need to hear to always get me through the day
And make it OK
I miss you

I've never felt this way before
Everything that I do
Reminds me of you
And the clothes you left
they lie on my floor
And they smell just like you
and all the things that you do

When you walk away
I count the steps that you take

Do you see how much I need you right now?

When you're gone
The pieces of my heart are missing you
When you're gone
The face I came to know is missing too
And when you're gone
The words I need to hear to always get me through the day
And make it OK
I miss you

We were made for each other
Out here forever
I know we were
Yeah Yeah

All I ever wanted was for you to know
Everything I do I give my heart and soul
I can hardly breathe, I need to feel you here with me
Yeah

When you're gone
The pieces of my heart are missing you
When you're gone
The face I came to know is missing too
When you're gone
The words I need to hear will always get me through the day
And make it OK
I miss you

I wonder if any girl would be singing this to me. Sometimes the right/wrong songs can act as a catalyst leading to an emo trip! Gotta replace all my mp3s to happy songs!

Sigh...no full weekends this month. Pls send more attachment students!!!

Ok this is going to be a good one! For the 1st time in my life I recieved the thumbs up for my culinary skillz. The story goes like this...yesterday, through milo's brain child of having an iron chef competition, I was given the chance to cook since a long time. We were split into 2 teams from drawing random lots. I paired up with milo and scb paired up with da jie. The theme ingredient: Eggs! Of course to be fair, both teams recieved the details 1 day prior to the competition so that we can prepare to go out guns-a-blazing for the challenge. Of course for me I had to rush down to eastpoint after work to meet up the gang to shop for groceries for the competition. Tension was rife the moment both teams were armed with a hand basket. We split up in NTUC scouring for the secret ingredients to make our master piece.

Headed back to scb's place all stocked up but too early to begin preparing. Played a few rounds of poker with $ for the 1st time in my life and fortunately emerged with some winnings. Ok the time has come for both teams to pit their skillz against each other. Milo and I decided on a simple yet tasty fare: Egg stuffed Tuna served with a side of Roast Chicken Spaghetti in Special sauce! The ladies tried a tough dish of fried handmade dumplings, meatballs and Oatmeal Prawn. Both teams were pretty civil with each other until a can of tuna went missing...accusations and brandishing of choppers started taking place...in the end we had to beg for a can of tuna that mysteriously looks like the one we bought found in the drawer. Both teams finished cooking in about 90min...not bad for a shared kitchen. The remaining 2 judges arrived...Caline and Jason. Zen and Aunty were already salivating while waiting for the 2 to come. 4 judges stands between both teams and the Iron Chef title...

To start, ours looked pretty average compared to the ladies' dishes. I have to admit our appearance did not look as appetising as the ladies' but true our creativity and taste we emerged as the victors!! The Iron Chefs!!...i'm very sure it will be disputed till the next round but let us have this moment. Thx! Celebrated Zen's birthday by looking at him voluntarily smear cake on his face...nice! Happy Birthday Zen!...Played more poker, this time without $ and bankrupted twice followed by milo and we both had to forfiet...end of story dun probe further. What happens in the room stays in the room...

Concluded the night with a movie at TM...last movie there was "Wet Dreams 2" like eons ago and now its "Alone". Not really eerie but its pretty shocking and amusing to see how my movie dates have developed their own anti-scare method. Nice one guys!

Some pictures...

Me Fooling around with a carrot

Hostile + Insane woman holding a "Carrot"

The "Iron Chefs"... I have 2 eggs in hand

The opposition...scb & da jie aka "copper chefs"

The Final Spread...yummy

The Award winning dish...ours of course

Dear Joyce...a cucumber is green and is meant to be kept in the fridge and a carrot is orange also meant to be kept in the fridge...a cucumber is not a carrot and likewise a carrot is not a cucumber...till the next showdown! Muahuhauha

Hello everyone! Guess what i'm working on Saturday again!!! 3/4 of my weekends are burnt and I still have 18 weeks to go. Since last Thurs till yesterday, shit has been piling up until there is no room to move, has been on my feet alomost everyday and today I finally had the chance to sit and enjoy the lack of hussle and bustle of people busy working...well at least that was the case after 11am. I wonder what will happen this sat? Its hard to have everything go to plan and usually have to compromise to the benefit of everyone. Well its time to step up and live life the way it is meant to be - "MY WAY"...RAH!!! So anyways after work will be heading down for an Iron Chef thingy with the dudes and dudettes. By right planned to watch "Alone" followed by clubbing at Devil's Bar but by left things will screw up and has!!! Devil's Bar has returned to hell leaving behind a dark empty shell of its former glory...sigh...I did not even have a chance to go there before. Shall be looking for an alternative location but I wonder if i'll have khakis. Its always better to have a contingency plan.

Have been having regular Waffles Tuesdays hahaha wonder how long this can go on...hope don't kena diabetes or else "hong kan" liao. Taking about it reminds me of my weighty issues, DAMN IT got to start an exercise program soon...before I move out of my home I have to utilise the gym and swimming pool...gym is fine but swimming alone very sian. High chance will eventually stay at Boon Lay/Pioneer area...so damn far from my friends I guess will get to see them lesser, they will be even more reluctant to come over my place and i'll probably be more reluctant to go out even considering its much more further to town compared to my present place. Will see how it goes...got till the end of the year.

I have done some crazy things before and I have done something again. I bought Shirlyn's Tan "New Found Jealousy" album for the song "Window" @ $19.90...its been ages since I bought a CD but so far its been worth it. Oh and I rewarded myself today...haha have been putting it off for ages but I finally found the one...a connection I must say. Retail therapy is always good to perk the spirits up. Oh and holidays too...they are so addictive! Hong Kong from 6th to 10th September & Vietnam in December! Looking forward to it, Hong Kong as I have never been there before and Vietnam is like the 9th Year anniversary since I last went there back in 1998. I wonder if I can squeeze in a Tioman trip in Oct before the monsoon season hits...anyone interested?

Updates updates...haha well nothing much to update at the moment, such is life at present. Waking up at 7am every Monday to Friday just to put my alarm clock to snooze mode twice and finally dragging myself out of bed at 7.18am (9 min intervals between snooze alert). Sometimes I wonder what the extra 18 min would do for me except giving me the excuse to brisk walk to the bus stop every morning to catch the 7.50am bus. Its a wonder that I can have short dreams within the span of 9 min and then snooze again and continuing part 2 in the remaining 9 min. I think my mind is over active even when i'm sleeping. I've had re-occuring dreams before and dreams that I'd never forget, I wonder if there is some form of interpretation of my dreams. Well work has been fine except for the fact that my weekends are a big uncertainty with alot of relocation projects going on, we "coolies" are usually asked to assist the Engineers but the huge difference is we don't get paid OT while the Engineers do. So far I have to say the staff at my company has been rather understanding to our plight and tries not to keep us beyond the time required. Oh yes we do get time off instead. I have earned 2 days off so far, wondering when I should clear it. Just heard some good news at work today. I might be re-deployed for 2 months at Merrill Lynch, 1 of the top 5 banks in Singapore. I really believe there is a silver lining for every dark cloud...those who are familiar with my IA application knows that my wish was to get an internship at Barclays but I screwed up the online test and had to settle for my current company, my 2nd choice. Now that i'm giving the opportunity to work in the the financial sector again, I hope nothing goes wrong.

Still finding the silver lining behind the dark cloud surrounding my love life. Heard Merrill Lynch has alot of girls working there...a far cry at what my current work place provides haha. Yeah so anyway we are just buds again...I guess the timing as usual was off, coupled with other factors that only the cosmic powers knows, it was decided that it would not have worked out anyway. No relationship can work if effort is only put in by 1 person but at least I can put this huge chapter behind me and write a new one. I've learnt alot from this...probably alittle too late but i'm glad I had gone through it nonetheless. Lets hope the next time would be a smoother journey.

So far so good...hope they dun throw a curve ball at me tmr or friday and strike out my weekend...*prays*

I have been very tired ever since work started...I don't think its just my attachment but together with everything else. It only week 2 and i'm counting down the remaining 20 weeks and to top it off I have been very "fortunate" to work on Saturdays as well...fyi I don't get paid OT, I only get time off. Sleep hasn't come very easily for me the past few nights...tossing and turning until about 2-3am before dosing off only to wake up like 1 or 2 hrs later. I think its draining my energy even faster at work if this carries on...its like not charging the batteries properly. Thats why gotta make use of the weekends to the fullest, catching up with friends or even catching up on sleep. Just pray no more back to back Saturdays. Looking forward to after work this Sat...short weekend but will grab it by the balls. Thanks to Lionel for the wonderful belated bday dinner on Tues! Breaks the normality of the otherwise monotonous week at work. Enjoyed myself!!

I have always pondered on the saying "The truth hurts!"...I have my own take on that. More often the truth is always a realisation to some people and that shakes the very foundation on which they have confined themselves within their own bubble of comfort. I think the truth is liberating, because it opens ones eyes to a whole new dimension, instead of looking at things from your own comfortable point of view. I would not say it is a bad thing to have ones own view but to be able to see it through the eyes of others may make one a more understanding person. Sometimes the truth is revealed in strange ways but very often its through what other people tells you. You can make a personal choice there and then to decide if it is the truth. Even a lie if believed can develope into a more analytical view of the situation.

I've heard alot of things recently...some of which I feel I can relate too and others just makes it harder to swollow. Nonetheless I have heard enough and I thank those sources. How I wish I could have heard it straight but I guess I had to hear it from someone else...well like I said the truth can come from anyone...a liberating feeling. Gotta get used to changes but armed with the truth, suddenly everything seems contrasting...no more shades of grey...no more regrets...

ps..I get the hint, will act accordingly to avoid problems...

Its so damn hard sometimes....sigh! Period!

Hi there earthlings! Spent the weekend with the gang at Genting Highlands departed last Friday at 10pm and arrived back home yesterday at 8pm. Spent 12hrs on the coach both to and fro from Genting but it was a great trip although it was rushed for me as I had to report for my attachment today. More about my company later but 1st up the Genting trip. Went with scb, dajie, zen, milo & freeuns, we stayed at Hotel First World pairing up into 3 rooms. I bunked in with milo while dajie and zen in 1 room and scb together with freeuns. Arrived at the mountain resort at 5am...I did not sleep a wink on the bus so I was a tad tired when we arrived but could not check in to our rooms until much later that afternoon at 3pm. Hung out at the casinos and tried my hand at roulette and jackpot. Lets just say I came back without a single RM...lterally! The food in Genting is very much different from the franchise in Singapore. Safe to say it pretty much sucks compared to our Singapore outlets. The only plus point is KFC...regardless what they said abt the coleslaw, I think everything tasted great. Cost of food and entertainment there is hardly cheaper because it is a tourist attraction.

Checked-in a little after 1pm only to find that our rooms have not been made (=_="). Dumped our bags in the rooms and placed the "House Keeping" tag on the door knob before heading for Baskin Robbins!! You can't find this franchise in Singapore only in Malaysia, just like Dunkin Donuts which apparently Genting doesn't have and poor scb got disappointed. I would say the trip knocked the wind out of freeuns and scb pretty bad. They slept on the way but ended up feeling more tired when we arrived and scb actually felt feverish for most part of the day. Played more jackpot before deciding to check if our rooms have been made already...yes yes and no. Both dajie's and scb's room was made except mine. F*&k them especially after milo called them many times. Worse of all no towels were brought up to our room even after informing the house keeper in person (thx to dajie)...horrible if you ask me. Lucky managed to "coupe" towel from scb since she brought her own.

After dinner at the foodcourt (ikan bilis ban mian), played some arcade games and was amazed at freeuns ability to recall his DDR skills of over 8 years ago! Decided the night was still young and being in a competitive mood we played team bowling. We paired up according to our room arrangements and the losing pair had to perform a forfiet! Luckily for milo and me we came in 2nd haha and the losing pair "SCB + FREEUNS" Played abit more jackpot before calling it a night.

Met the rest at 9am for breakfast before having a game of snooker before rushing back to our rooms to prepare to check-out. Had KFC (yay!) for lunch (3 piece Original Meal) before boarding the 2pm coach back to Singapore. 6hrs later and we were back at Golden Mile...that concluded the trip, a fun but yet rushed trip.

Yes now the part about my 1st day of Attachment. I'm glad that we're allowed to dress down for the rest of our time there. The department is full of attachment students which makes it easier to settle down. Not much comment regarding the management but observing how the lao jiao students interact with them I would say they are a pretty easy going bunch. My job scope on a daily basis would be to setup and configure Desktop, Notebooks and Server hardware to meet the client's individual needs. Ultimately i'll be slowly advancing to specialise in server and "blades" technology in the days to come. A rather informal working environment.

Lastly...I made steps that could change the way i'm living my life right now. I finally had the chance to talk to a special someone. From living a life for myself at the moment it could very well change to encompass living a life that involves someone else. It really looks challenging to work things out but nonetheless I made a promise not to back down again until the end. Its the 1st time i've ever opened myself to such an extent to another person and honestly speaking I feel vulnerable...i'll be putting everything into this and i'm taking the risk i'll fail but its something I have to do if not for us at least for myself. Assessing the situation, i'm at a huge disadvantage to begin with...totally not the ideal way to begin my very 1st journey but like I said...Chances don't come by, they must be created and utilised when it presents itself but I still can't help feeling that i'm already losing before I have a chance to do something about it! How much longer can I look on the bright-side of things? I definately hope its not going to be another decade...

It seemed so surreal to step into the world of nightclubs and pubs but I guess it was an experience I'll never forget. Anyway its been exactly 20 days since my last post and I have been accused of slacking. How true! Been staying home playing RO almost everyday. Needless to say when the datacenter hosting the game server went down for almost 15hrs, I was a frantic mess. Got to adjust myself to attachment mode. Starting on the 9th of July till the 8th of Dec, 830am to 545pm @ $600/mth. I know nothing fantastic but I guess I can only hang on the the hope of enjoying my attachment.

As usual I was playing RO the whole of yesterday when I recieved a call from my former boss. "Former" because i'm no longer incharge of the project, so technically i'm jobless. So i recieved a call from him asking if I was free to go out for "a night a wild fun". I was skeptical about it and I quizzed him further. Apparently the agenda was to repay me for my time spent fixing up him computer as well as leaving me high and dry regarding the sudden lost of my job. He promised me a night where all I had to do was enjoy myself and not worry about the finances. Being such a "pussy" when it comes to such vices I declined the offer but he was persistent and persuasive!!! Sad to say I failed miserably in negotiating although I took a class on that and scored a 'B grade'. Coupled with the fact that I haven't been out of the house lately and my emotional well-being recovering from a battering, I decided to join them. Who knows, it could very well start something new in me but I told myself that I was going to practice self-control within the limits of having fun but I knew the rest has something in store for me.

Reached Tanjong Pagar at around 1045pm and made my way to find them, apparently such places are more happening earlier on in the night, a total contrast to the dance clubs littering Mohd Sultan and The Cannery. Walked past Why Not...infamous gay crib but I heard its very quite nowadays. Headed down further and met them outside Fondre. Was introduced to Daniel, he was the "tour guide" he knew people and people knew him...it was like a scene from inthevip. Hehe I think some of you guys might know what i'm talking about. We started off bar hopping, taking a peak before moving on. I had no idea what they were doing and had to endure much walking up and down that stretch. He lead us into some back alley where we were to enter via the backdoor but something seemed amiss. I overheard him saying something about the lights being turned on etc...as we headed back out to the main road we realised that a raid by Foreign Affairs was taking place. Girls on social visit passes were rounded up and taken away in police vans. Seems the night ended prematurely for me, a complete waste of time traveling all the way down to see the bars closing shop early...NOT!!

The guys felt bad about it considering this little escapade was for my sake, my little coming out into the world experience if you will call it. Daniel drove us from Tanjong Pagar to Paramount Shopping Centre. Yes! I was at Katong at 1130pm! Thats where the fun really began. 1st stop "J Up" entered the place and immediately 2 rather stunning hostesses came over and began introducing themselves but it ended rather quickly as Dan the Man felt there were better places inside Paramount. We promised the girls from "J Up" we would return...like real! 2nd place "Home Ground". I was given a brief explaination how this works. We would go in and order drinks for ourselves...anything and the girl would come over and entertain for abit and leave. If we were to buy them a drink @ a flat rate of $20, they would entertain longer. Yeah so "Home Ground" was officially my very 1st experience. We went in ordered drinks and a girl came to each of us and began the introductions. My friends lied to the girls saying its my birthday just to score me preferential treatment...haha I would not say what I got on such a public area but I would say my friend got a better deal than me. Yeah and I was chided for not being overly adventurous...basket!! We stayed till closing time which ironically ended with the song by semisonic "Closing Time"...it was only 1am. Night was still young and we decided to head across to "Big Boss" haha such a funny name. Btw Dan the Man knows people here too and that it why we really get entertained the till closing time. "Big Boss" took the notch up many levels. I throughly enjoyed myself there and so did my companions. Haha they tried the same birthday trick there...damn its getting so lame but I am enjoying the attention. Stayed till closing time as well at 2am.

I've done things that I thought I'd never do with someone I just met but I guess all in the name of fun and for the experience I would say nice...very nice...hahaha!!!

Just got back my results on Friday! For those of you who knows me should know that this has been sitting at the back of my mind for a very long time. No I wasn't looking forward to getting it, infact I dreaded everyday and the feeling was exceptionally horrible during week leading up to the release date. Yes most of you should know its a very big deal for me and I appreciate all the support during the anxious moments. So a big thank you to everyone and i'm pround to announce that I have passed all my subjects to enable me to remain in NTU. Still got 1 more GE paper next Wednesday before I get to enjoy the remaining 3 weeks of my holiday. Starting attachment on the 9th of July...I think i'm repeating myself all over again.

For every good thing, I guess there is always going to be negative lurking around the corner. This is where the celebrations stop for this post. I'm dedicating this section to someone who I consider special and things hasn't really been smooth sailing for quite sometime between us. Joyce, i'm not going to beat around the bush, we are all adults and I believe on my part laying my cards open is the best way and I hope you can do the same. I believe it all started with me making the decision to take sometime away from you (twice). It was just a crazy time and I believe we talked about it before. Things back then were different. I admit the way I treat you now pales in comparison to the past. I hope you understand that I was "caught up" with the possibility that we might have actually got together and that I allowed myself to read to much into your kind intentions that you direct to your all your guy friends. I didn't realise back then but I get it now...we can only be friends and I guess you might be too used to the way I was in the past. Things are definately different now but I have to admit that the wat I am now...i'm trying very hard to be, and not let myself revert back to my old self...I believe we all know what might happen again. At times i'm not proud of my behaviour but that happens when you can't be yourself. Feelings will always be there and its up to us to keep it in check. Before typing this, I was contemplating whether or not to type this. It might just scare you away but up till this point I think that it is the right thing to do. The rest of them say I spoil you too much...giving in to your occasional whim and fancy and will always be on hand to apologise 1st. Sad to say I do agree with them but I think its time you learnt to be responsible to yourself and treat what your real friends tell you as constructive rather than demeaning. Up till this point if you're not thinking of defending yourself, I think it is a good start. People makes mistakes but admitting to it without hostile feelings is an art. I'm prepared for fingers to be pointed at me for being hyppocrtical by saying that but I will admit to that...its an art i'm trying to perfect as well. So what are we left now? Regarding what happened 2 days ago...I only remembered talking to you on the phone and the last exchange was you asking how was my grades and my reply was to tell you when we meet then I passed the phone to Shaun. What he said to you I had no idea as I was placing my order with the waitress...shortly recieved a typical pissed off sms from you which you did not reply. Sometimes I wonder how you want me to respond? The old me or the new me? I think we both know that you have a different set of expectations from me compared to the rest...anyway reached home read your blog msged you on msn only to have no reply until earlier when you congratulated me. I wonder why you would say such things in that blog post...I would never have said something like that to you. I can't help use the word victimise here. If you feel you are always to be blamed for something regardless of the situation then I think you are doing exactly that to yourself. So pardon me for getting pissed at you for getting pissed at me for something I did not do...yes the rest have commented a few times before that you tend to direct your unhappiness at me regardless of who is guilty.

I can only see 2 outcomes from this. Either I shall never hear from you again knowing that you are not the sort to initiate a mending or you can try to be honest and upfront with me with your feelings instead of lashing out so we can talk it out. I don't know if this works for you but the ball is in your court. I shall be waiting for your reply via any means, if not then at least let me tell you that I treasured every memory with you in it. Okay i'm no longer pissed!

Post number 56! This is a significant number because I have officially matched the number of post from my 1st blog which I have discontinued for some personal reasons. I got chided by scb for complaining too much in my previous post but I just want to say I don't mean it as a comparison or to provoke people who have obviously bigger things to worry about. Recieved semi good news that I have been assigned the company of my choice although not the interviewing one which is Barclays Capital (failed the online test miserably). What remains to be seen if I can go ahead with my IA. Results are expected to be out this Friday...1 more day...

Will be starting my IA from 9th July to 8th Dec (22 weeks). It will be the longest I have ever worked and I pray it will be a pleasant experience. Shan't say too much as it will still be dictated by Friday's results. So much to think about if it goes down south...dread thinking about what I have to do in that event.

Spent $40 on RO...yes I think its really crazy but I have been contemplating on it for awhile...yes I bought a donation item so shoot me...

Ok looking back at the last dated post I think I have been slacking in updating my blog. Such that I don't know where to begin. At least blogger is back to full functionality and for that I have lost my last excuse for not updating. Maybe I should start with what will be happening over the next few days. 99.9% chance I might be heading out to KL this coming Thursday (Vesak Day) and coming back on Saturday where i'll be meeting the gang straight for rong mei's bday dinner without going home to dump my stuff. Lets hope I make it back in time. Results will be out soon. Having mixed feelings about it but there is nothing more I can do really but to think of the future plans for different outcomes. Will probably update you guys on that when I know more about it. Freeuns has been bugging me for an update and i've been procrastinating for awhile so I dedicate this post ot him hahaha (This is your prize for being the 2000th visitor to my blog).

Since the last post was dated 10th May! I shall give a summary on a week by week basis. Hope that I remembered most of what had happened over the past few weeks.

11th to 18th May
Went to Vivocity for the 3rd time to have dinner with scb, da jie + zen and milo at this Hong Kong styled cafe. They all ate but I gave it a pass due to a late lunch...headed back to my place for a game of texas holdem. Although we did not gamble with money, the losers had to perform a forfeit decided by the winners. I lost twice and therefore had to to perform 2 forfeits. Rinse my mouth with water from my reflective pool and to submerge myself for 5 secs with my clothes on in the pool. Thats all for the week I think!?!...memory is failing me.

19th to 27th May
Watched the FA Cup finals with scb and lionel at SMU's ice cold beer. Initial plan was to go to selegie to watch the match but ended up with a potential wet weather on our hands and the place was crowded. Rushed down via foot to SMU. Of course the prissy scb was complaining all the way of a aching legs and a growling stomach. At last the fatigue got to her and she started seeing worms and screaming while covering her ears...I on the other hand just saw a lizard slithering away in fear of the mad woman hahaha poor girl. Managed to find a reasonable seating location just before the match started. Lionel was late and missed almost the 1st 20mins. Man Utd lost to Chelsea in extra time. Try harded again next season! Freeuns who was in JB at the time called to chat amid the loud cheering/jeering of the "fans" at Ice Cold Beer. He was watching the match in his Hotel at the sametime but I could hardly hear what he was saying. Kind of reminds me of the song "Somewhere out there".

Was harassed out by scb on Tuesday hehehe poor girl did not want to go home after work and I was the easiest target in her phonebook. Could only meet her at Cityhall about 30mins after she arrived because I had to finish up some presentation materials 1st. Girls being girls, she fully utilised that 30mins for shopping and readily blamed me upon my arrival for her proud purchases of 2 tops! Headed to Sake Sushi for dinner...yummy its been ages since I had good sushi and sashimi. Plates after coloured plates, we piled our table until almost felt like vomitting. Walked off the bulging stomach before settling at Gelare for the waffles special on Tuesdays. Feeling satisfied we left for home...

Concluded my summer classes on Wed with the Finale presentation. I have a good feeling for this module. Exams on the 13th of June, hopefully I nail this one!

Watched Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End on friday with milo and lionel. Not too bad pity that the effects were mostly recycled from the 1st 2 parts. A tad too much talking but overall an entertaining show. Drove down to Clarke Quay for coffee and caught up on old times with the 2 of them and called it a night. Drinks at TCC are pretty nice. Sat and Sun was spent travelling up and down for a mixture of Mahjong and Texas Holdem. Fared better at Mahjong compared to Texam Holdem. Lost trice...means 3 forfeits AGAIN!!! Had to eat a raw egg and had my nose hair yanked out!!! and to eat fresh chilli!

28th May to present day
Went to msh house for mahjong and lost $4! Period nothing to comment on that except I manage to catch the last train home which is actually considered a bigger saving for me. Headed down to Cityhall around 11+ to accompany rong mei and msh in the infamous Donut Factory Q! We walked away triumphant with 36 donuts!!! Of course they did the hard work by Q-ing from 10.45am to close to 12pm. Hello Kitty craze all over again but the donuts are really really good!!! Headed down to Katong for a 3hr KTV session before going home...donuts were still fresh when I got home...AMAZING!!!

Matt is a happy boy with his 12 donuts

I hope this long post satisfies all your needs at least till I return from KL

Hello hello! How is everyone? Its been 2 weeks since my exams ended and i'm utterly disappointed with myself that i'm only typing this now. Tsk tsk what have I been doing? Well the earlier part of these 2 weeks has been spent worrying about how the end results of the exams would turn out. I'm passed that now, what is done cannot be reversed unless I create a time machine but then if I did that, I would not have been overly worried about my exam results in the 1st place. Wasted no time in utilizing my holidays although it has been short. Started my summer class this Monday. It will conclude with the exams being held on the 13th of June. Played mahjong with friends, picked up texas hold'em, watched Spiderman 3 and played RO (again) all in the Span of 1 week. Rather fulfilling although i'm not going to let summer class ruin my holidays. I will still continue with my outings etc...

Man Utd has finally reclaimed the title as English Champions after Chelsea hogged onto the title for the prev 2 years. Chelsea ultimately sealed the victory for Man Utd by failing to win Arsenal and so rub salt into the wound, last night saw neither Man Utd or Chelsea walk away victorious in a match of little consequence. I do hope West Ham remain in the EPL next season but its up to them to pull a quick one over Man Utd and repeating a double this season with both team's final game of the season.

Well i'm sitting here with a total lack of conviction or inspiration to blog about anything of worth. Still i'm hoping to squeeze out an overseas trip during this holiday as i'll be starting my Industrail Attachment next sem. Won't have the time and luxury to skip classes for a whole sem. Not to forget I still have to prepare a topic for my summer class final presentation. I was thinking a social issue...wonder if anyone has suggestions for me? Also anyone interested in an overseas trip huh?

PS. This was typed 2 days ago but there is some problem with the blogger page loading properly and I can't seem to format it accordingly...anyone having the same problem? Will edit this post once blogger is able to load properly.

PSS. I managed to perform some text alignment via html coding...I hate this...blogger better get this fixed soon.

Just chanced upon this video that made me feel very sad. I wonder if i'll end up like that after my exam results are released.

Ok guys this is post number 51 and what better way to start the 2nd half of century posts than to dedicate it to the greatest football club in the world! All of you should know that i'm talking about Manchester United! I have been following this club for almost a decade and i'm proud to say it. Trailling 2-1 to AS Roma in last week's Champions League 1st Leg quarter-final match, Man Utd needed to overcome a hurdle in Champions League standards; as tall as a man! Italian teams are the bogey teams of Man Utd, having dumped the Red Devils out of Eurepean competitions on a rather consistent rate, this time round looked like another devil's horn being scalped off again. So let me break this down for you footy imbeciles, Man Utd needed to WIN at least 1-0 in the 2nd Leg (this morning 2.45am). If AS Roma scored, then Man Utd needs to WIN at least 2-1 to take the match into extra time and all Roma have to do is go into Old Trafford and line all 11 men in the goal post to hang on to their lead.

Enough said! Watch the match highlights below from the 2nd Leg quarter-final match between Manchester United vs AS Roma @ Old Trafford - Theater of Dreams

Manchester United V Roma

Man Utd made footballing History last night by smacking AS Roma 7-1!!!

On a more depressing note, the other quarter-final match saw Chelsea go through to the semis as well. Going into the match with a 1-1 draw with Valencia from the 1st Leg quarter-final match at Stamford Bridge, Chelsea needed at least a 1-1 draw again at The Mastella stadium to force the 2nd Leg into extra time. So Chelsea needs to win in order to wrap up the match in 90mins.

Check out the highlights from that match: Valencia vs Chelsea @ The Mastella stadium.

Valencia vs Chelsea Highlights

Blooper Alert: During the interview with Essien towards the end of the vid, Essies said he was glad they got all 3 points from the match...thats dumbest thing I heard. "THIS IS KNOCKOUT MY BROTHER!"

Hi guys! I just had this crazy idea to do an online poll and what better time than to have this poll in conjunction with my blog having passed the 1500 hits mark. Yeah yeah I know its a little too late to have this since my counter is hitting 1700 soon but what the heck, its rare I have such a crazy idea so might as well find an excuse to get away from the books. So please scroll down and enjoy my virgin poll!

Thanks to all the students for making this blog a mini success!

Warm greetings to everyone! Sorry for not updating as often as I used to, have been buried under tonnes of stuff. Exams are a meer 15 days time and I still got lots to revise. The last week was sort of intense with a quiz and a presentation. I still have 1 more quiz next Monday before classes officially stops leave us students with just 1 week before the exams. The only thing worth mentioning is the BBQ I had last Saturday at milo's place, courtesy from scb for providing the food although I was entrusted the task to prepare the main course. Scb celebrated her 24th birthday on Saturday but her actual birthday was yesterday and I just wanna wish "You" a Happy Birthday with all your wishes (24 of them) coming true.
Enjoy the pictures!

Must fill our bellies before shopping for food!
